Platform Notice

1. What Rankd Provides

Rankd is a digital platform that helps users find tennis players, arrange matches, submit results and build a Rankd player profile.

Rankd provides digital tools for:

• player discovery
• player profiles
• match challenges
• match coordination
• match result submission
• result confirmation
• Rankd scores and related player information

Rankd is designed to support local tennis activity. It does not replace the responsibilities of players, clubs, facilities, coaches or official sporting organisations.

2. Rankd Is a Platform, Not an Organiser

Rankd does not organise, host, supervise or control physical tennis matches.

When users arrange a match through Rankd, the match takes place independently between the participating users.

Rankd is not responsible for:

• choosing whether users meet
• supervising the match
• providing equipment
• providing tennis courts
• booking courts
• enforcing facility rules
• refereeing matches
• verifying the physical events in person
• ensuring that another user attends a match

Users remain responsible for their own decisions, behaviour and safety.

3. No Official Sports Status

Rankd is not:

• a tennis federation
• an official league
• a tournament organiser
• a club
• a referee service
• a court operator
• a coaching provider
• a sporting authority

Rankd scores, including RTP or similar indicators, are proprietary platform scores.

They are not official federation ratings, league classifications or externally verified sporting credentials.

4. User Profiles and Self-Assessment

Rankd may allow users to create player profiles containing information such as location, playing level, availability, preferred distance, profile photo, match activity or Rankd score.

Users are responsible for keeping their information accurate and appropriate.

Playing-level information may be based on self-assessment and available Rankd activity. Rankd does not guarantee that a user's stated level, profile information or match history perfectly reflects their actual tennis ability.

Users should make their own judgement before arranging a match.

5. Match Challenges and Coordination

Rankd may allow users to send and accept match challenges.

A challenge may include proposed date, time, location, court-related information or other match details.

Rankd provides tools to support this process, but the participating users remain responsible for confirming the practical details of the match.

This includes:

• final time
• final location
• court availability
• court booking
• access to the facility
• cost sharing
• equipment
• weather conditions
• cancellation handling
• facility-specific rules

Rankd does not guarantee that a proposed match will be accepted, confirmed or played.

6. Court Booking and Payments

Rankd does not currently provide court booking or payment processing.

Court availability, reservations and payments are handled outside Rankd unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Users are responsible for:

• checking court availability
• booking the court where required
• complying with facility rules
• paying any court fees
• agreeing any cost split with the other player

Rankd is not responsible for court availability, booking errors, facility access, facility conditions or payments made outside the platform.

7. Physical Activity and Personal Safety

Tennis involves physical activity and may involve risk of injury.

Users are responsible for assessing whether they are fit and able to play.

Rankd does not provide:

• medical advice
• fitness advice
• safety supervision
• coaching
• emergency assistance
• personal background checks on users

Users should choose safe and suitable playing locations, follow applicable rules and use their own judgement when meeting other users.

If you have medical or safety concerns, seek appropriate professional advice before participating.

8. Result Submission and Confirmation

Rankd may allow users to submit match results.

Rankd may require both players to submit the result independently.

A result may become confirmed if both submissions match or otherwise meet Rankd's confirmation rules.

Only confirmed results may affect Rankd scores, rankings or player profile statistics.

Rankd does not provide an external referee or in-person verification service.

If submitted results do not match, the result may be marked as disputed, unconfirmed or require correction.

Rankd may remove, disregard or correct results where there are signs of error, manipulation, abuse or unreliable reporting.

9. Platform Integrity

Rankd relies on honest user behaviour.

Users must not manipulate the platform or submit false information.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• fake matches
• false results
• duplicate accounts
• impersonation
• collusion to influence scores
• artificial match activity
• abuse of invite or challenge features
• harassment or misconduct toward other users
• attempts to exploit technical weaknesses

Rankd may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts, remove content or disregard results where necessary to protect platform integrity.

10. User Content and Responsibility

Users may submit information, photos, messages, match details or results.

Users are responsible for the content they submit.

Users must not submit content that is:

• unlawful
• misleading
• offensive
• discriminatory
• infringing
• abusive
• threatening
• impersonating another person
• violating another person's privacy
• otherwise inappropriate for Rankd

Rankd may remove or restrict content that violates the Terms, this Platform Notice or applicable law.

11. Reporting Issues

Users can contact Rankd to report concerns, including:

• abusive behaviour
• fake profiles
• manipulated results
• safety concerns
• inappropriate content
• suspected misuse
• technical issues

Reports can be sent to: support@getrankd.app

Please include relevant information, such as:

• your account email
• the other user's name or profile
• match date or match details
• description of the issue
• screenshots or supporting information where available

Rankd may review reports and take action where appropriate.

12. External Services and Links

Rankd may link to external websites, services or facilities, including tennis facilities, booking platforms or social media profiles.

Rankd is not responsible for:

• third-party websites
• external booking systems
• external payments
• facility rules
• third-party availability
• third-party content
• third-party privacy practices

Users should review the terms and policies of any third-party services they use.

13. Availability and Product Changes

Rankd may be updated, changed, limited or discontinued over time.

This may include changes to:

• player profiles
• match flows
• result confirmation
• Rankd scores
• rankings
• notifications
• invite features
• supported sports
• platform availability

Rankd may also correct, reset or adjust data where necessary for technical, security or platform-integrity reasons.

14. Relationship to Other Documents

This Platform Notice should be read together with:

• Terms of Use
• Privacy Policy
• Community Guidelines, where available
• any additional rules or notices shown inside Rankd

If there is a conflict between this Platform Notice and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use apply unless otherwise required by law.
